The Moon has just entered sidereal Aquarius and joins Neptune, so let us remind ourselves of what Neptune represents, and how it is influencing humanitarian issues around the world.
Lines of reality are blurred as Neptune transits sidereal Aquarius from 2008 to 2023. So even though other transits, such as the current conjunctions between Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Sagittarius show extreme violence and unethical behaviour, Neptune's transit in Saturn's sign confuses, as it points to a 'tuning out' of reality, whether this is done through fanciful thinking, or by simply ignoring reality if we do not wish to believe what is actually happening.
The Mars and Saturn conjunction in Sagittarius represents a cold war. Their conjunction every two years or so creates this possibility, of course, but what we are seeing now is an increased likelihood of a cold war due to the upcoming conjunction in 2020. This is because of Saturn's concurrent conjunction with Pluto, just as Mars comes around to meet with Saturn again in 2020. This is further intensified by the eclipses in 2019/2020, and by Jupiter's transit in the same sign, Sagittarius, before all of these planets move into Capricorn in 2020.
This shows a complete breakdown of a system that is due an overhaul!
It's easy to tune out and have an idealized view of where we're headed as a global community. We may do this by ignoring our own part in this transformation, by only looking at how this affects the world. We couldn't blame anyone for ignoring both.
As Mahatma Gandhi is quoted as saying, 'Be the change you want to see in the world'.
