I am everything, something and no-thing, all at once. I am everywhere, somewhere and nowhere. What am I? No, it’s not a trick question. You and I, and everyone, are the same on some level. Pisces reflects this higher truth. In each of us lies everything that ever was and will ever be. We are beyond the separation the mind creates. We are beyond space and time.
Deep down, we know this to be true. And we know exactly what happens next, because it has already happened on some level. Actually, nothing happens, all is. And while we may forget that from time-to-time, from lifetime to lifetime, we sometimes catch a glimpse of this truth when we are not looking.
Granted, it can sometimes take a lot of looking before we ‘accidently’ stumble across it. Many times, our sense of oneness comes out of the blue; the bright blue sky; a colour associated with the sign Pisces, a sign full of symbols and myths that capture this truth. We are but a drop in the ocean, an essential ingredient in the mix. Without each and every one of us, there would be no-thing. Within each of us is everything. Yet we are also a separate ingredient on some level, a person with a name, title, a position in society, a family, a community, all forming part of our story. We have already chosen the story. It is written in the stars.
Higher (deeper) truths contain within them lower truths that seem to have many contradictions the mind grapples with. This is one reason Mercury is seen as debilitated in Pisces. Mercury represents the intellect, which has a hard time grasping this truth. Jupiter is ruler of Pisces and has no such problem. And when we have this knowing, we have tapped into the magick of Pisces.
We know on some level that we can be, do and have anything we want. And yet, we seem to become someone we would not consciously chose at times. We don’t always do what we aspire to do, it seems. We don’t seem to get what we want always.
When someone says they have ‘raised their vibration’ to manifest what they want, they are simply getting out of the way of what we have already chosen. By raising their vibration, by surrendering to what already is, they align with what they have already asked for. We do not make anything happen from an egoic perspective, although our egos may hijack the process and lay claim to the achievement. Even when we don’t get what we want, the ego hijacks that process and becomes the martyr.
Jupiter in Pisces opens us up to being able to see this, to know this, within. We simply tune into what we have already asked for. We surrender.

Jupiter’s Transit in Pisces
Jupiter enters sidereal Pisces on Apr 13, 2022, the day after an exact conjunction with Neptune at the last degree of Aquarius. Neptune follows Jupiter into Pisces soon after, on Apr 18. While Neptune stays only briefly in Pisces this year, until Sep 12, Jupiter remains in Pisces for a year, until Apr 21, 2023.
This is the one we've been waiting for, folks. But before we get carried away with what may be quite profound for some, I must point out some potential pitfalls. You see, Jupiter in Pisces alone is prone to going overboard. It's conjunction with Neptune adds to this potential.
The most obvious example of this is copping out to be able to cope. Even meditation, ordinarily a practice that can help us deal with our stuff, can become a sort of 'spiritual bypassing'. We may think we are tuning in, when we are actually tuning out. The Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, exact Apr 12, shows the potential for tripping out. Yet it also shows the potential for connecting to one another in ways we have not been able to for some time.
I noted this summer there are plans for another Love Parade in Berlin, an event that hasn't taken place since 2010 - the last time Jupiter transited Pisces. I imagine there will be many tuning out at the event, and this summer in general, but also many tuning into the truth of who they really are; that is, being everything, something and no-thing, all at once.
Another thing that happened the last time Jupiter was in Pisces was that the WHO declared an end to the H1N1 Global Pandemic. Okay, maybe that's just my own wishful thinking and spiritual bypassing!
Other things of note during Jupiter's previous transit in Pisces from 2010 to 2011 were the bailouts for several EU countries, including Greece, Ireland and Portugal. When we consider the war in Ukraine, we are likely to see large sums donated. But if we ignore the fact that Ukraine is in more debt than ever, we are not looking at the whole picture. Pisces tells us we must be aware of both sides of the coin, the two directions the fish are swimming in.
Another thing that happened the last time Jupiter was in Pisces was the founding of Instagram. This is Jupiter in Pisces showing our best self, with all the filters on. One can only imagine how will this express itself with Neptune conjunct Jupiter in Pisces this time round. It may be through the Metaverse, carefully curated avatars that grant us the opportunity to be someone else for a while.
Yet another thing that happened the last time Jupiter transited Pisces was the U. S. diplomatic cable leaks (Wikileaks). Are we likely to see some things being leaked again? The difference this time is we are also likely to be very confused about whatever is presented as Jupiter conjoins Neptune in Pisces.
Actual leaks, floods and tsunamis after volcanoes, are also very likely with Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. Recent floods in Australia may be just a preview of what's to come. There were many floods the last time Jupiter transited Pisces, including a Japanese earthquake, and subsequent tsunami, the strongest in its recorded history, which killed over 28,000 people.
There were the Arab Spring Protests the last time also. When Jupiter is strong, people are more hopeful and can effect a change.
I'm sure there will be many other events this year that follow these trends. But because Jupiter is joined Neptune this time (unlike Uranus, the last time), we are likely to be at least a little confused about what is actually happening, or what to do next. When anything is possible, we might not do anything at all.
Summer of Love & Hate
This is the first time in a few years that Jupiter is strong by transit. Yet there are other, more challenging transits, that suggest a mixed bag of results. The last time Jupiter was strong was when it transited Sagittarius in 2019. Jupiter may have been strong, but just not in a way we would have preferred. It's conjunctions with Pluto, Saturn and Ketu saw the beginning of a pandemic, which just goes to show you don't always want Jupiter expanding on a theme!
In Pisces, Jupiter expands on themes of connection and loss, of peace and surrender. We are likely to want to connect to each other more than we have in a long time. Yet we are just as likely to disconnect from realities that are too difficult to deal with. If we do connect, we are likely to be more compassionate. Yet we must be aware of the fish swimming in the opposite direction, i.e., becoming apathetic.
And yet another pitfall of Jupiter in Pisces: When everything is possible, something may be achievable, and yet, nothing is clearly defined. We can at least feel more hopeful about humanity despite, or indeed, because of, the challenges. Yet there may be a sense of overwhelm and need something to help us cope.
Jupiter does have an aspect from Saturn for much of the year. Although this could dampen optimism, it could be a good container for Jupiter, an 'attentive optimism'. We may ''turn on, tune in and drop out'', as Timothy Leary once suggested, but we may tune out when Saturn enters Aquarius by the end of April, and until the middle of July, when Saturn returns to Capricorn and limits us going overboard again.
Even while Saturn is in Aquarius, Rahu is also in Aries, placing Jupiter between the two. When Jupiter is flanked by Saturn and Rahu, we are likely to see many complex issues spring up around any kind of uprisings, as well as floods, and the need for humanitarian relief. Containment may work at times (Saturn), whether of people or of rising water levels, yet at other times, boundaries and borders may be challenged (Rahu).
Jupiter and Neptune’s conjunction in Pisces is also likely to be expressed in an outpouring of emotion, and of more people being displaced. We've already seen the largest migration of people since WW2 occur in Ukraine.
There is hope on the horizon, just as there is fear. But there is always the potential for delusion when Neptune is about. The last time they met at the very end of Aquarius there was a peace treaty ended the Crimean War. This offers hope for a peace deal by the end of April and into May 2022. Although Jupiter and Neptune did meet during the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it was in the opposite sign Virgo. Let's hope Jupiter and Neptune's strength in Pisces wins out, that it doesn’t take such a catastrophe for peace to return.

The Moral of the Story
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, the end of the story. Jupiter’s transit through Pisces for the coming year is the part of the movie that wraps up all the complexities, all the many twists and turns of a complex story, into a moral.
There’s a lesson to be learned, before we can walk off, hand-in-hand into the sunset. There's a sense of things coming to completion in some respect, before beginning again in Aries next year.
There are likely to be some truths coming out at this time, either from a more personal/spiritual perspective, or through revelations that end this movie in a way we can get on with our lives.

Jupiter in Pūrva Bhādrapada Mar 2, 2022 – Apr 28, 2022
Jupiter’s transit though Pisces can be broken up into the different lunar mansions. This is like separating out each flavour from the mix.
The first flavour is Pūrva Bhādrapada, a lunar mansion that bridges both Aquarius and Pisces. It is placed mostly in Aquarius, having just one pada or foot (3 degrees and 20 minutes) in Pisces. Although it transits in Pisces and this lunar mansion for just a couple of weeks, this is an important first step. Jupiter in the last pada of Purva Bhadra is the Cancer 9th division, its sign of exaltation. This shows an underlying strength, reflecting more meaning, purpose, and hope; and dare I say it: faith. We may not be able to see the result of Jupiter's ingress into Pisces straight away, but we can keep the faith, even before we see the results.
Pūrva Bhādrapada's transit is not a time to lose faith, it’s a time to remove anything that stands in its way. By the time Jupiter has finished in this lunar mansion by the end of April, it will have let us all know the obstacles, so we can remove them and move on.

Jupiter in Uttara Bhādrapada Apr 28, 2022 – Feb 24, 2023
Jupiter spends longer in this lunar mansion in Pisces, as it retrogrades here between Jul 28 and Nov 23, 2022. The retrograde period itself highlights a need to reassess policies and ways of thinking. Certain universal truths must be assessed within. Jupiter’s transit in this lunar mansion can bring these truth into practical realms.
Uttara Bhādrapada is a fixed lunar mansion, bringing more stabilization, more coherence after much volatility. Even its association with Saturn in the planetary cycles is a solidifying force, building on what we believe is possible.

Jupiter in Revatī Feb 24, 2023 – Apr 21, 2023
The final journey of Jupiter through the end of the zodiac occurs when it enters Revatī in 2023. Revatī highlights endings and new beginnings, but more so endings. This is a time to acknowledge those who have gone before us, to connect with them once more, to say goodbye to how things were, so we can begin afresh, with new perspectives, new beliefs and new possibilities.
Revatī represents a need to connect to our Divinity, so we can see we are everyone, everywhere, always.

For Each Sign
Whatever area of your life you experience Pisces, this is where you are likely to expand in some way. Sometimes, the expansion is an inner growth, sometimes, a more obvious outer prosperity. How much you benefit from this depends on Jupiter's strength and rulership in your chart, as well as the areas of life you experience Sagittarius and Pisces. No matter how strong Jupiter is by transit in Pisces, if you do not have a strong faith, i.e., a strong Jupiter, this may only modify this indication in your life.
You are an individual, despite Jupiter in Pisces pointing to universal themes. You have your own needs and wishes. If you're Pisces ascendant, maybe watch your waistline! If you're Sagittarius, maybe it's time for a spring clean! You may even get a new living arrangement or opportunity, but it's time to be mindful of Jupiter's tendency to overdo it. Thankfully, Saturn's aspect helps reign Jupiter in; from overeating or overspending. Saturn's aspect can make something happen through more focus, a focus Jupiter and Neptune do not suggest on their own.
This is not a time for 'pie in the sky' ideals that are merely ways to cop out. It’s a time to dream big, yes, but also to anchor your dreams in something you can actually make happen.
However you experience Jupiter’s blessings, do share the joy. Others may need reminding they have within them these possibilities too.
Generally, Jupiter does well in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th houses from the Moon. So, if you have the Moon in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio or Aquarius, Jupiter may feel more expansive in ways that you are likely to appreciate. You may feel as if you are doing things on purpose; that there is meaning in what you are doing.
For each rising sign, there are benefits to be had, but it also depends on what Jupiter rules in your chart, i.e., the house positions of Sagittarius and Pisces. But even when Jupiter expands on a theme that may be challenging, it still brings its benevolence in some way or other. You may have to face the truth of a situation, but in doing so, you create a better situation, for all concerned. If you do not acknowledge it, Jupiter will keep on expanding until you can no longer ignore it, until you can expand no more. In the end, it may create problems until you address it.
Jupiter aspects the same elemental signs while in Pisces, i.e., Cancer and Scorpio. It also aspects the sign opposite, i.e., Virgo. These signs and areas by house position will increase over the coming year. Again, while mostly welcome, some things must be kept in check, so as not to overdo it.
Here are a few possibilities for each rising and/or Moon sign:
Aries: Jupiter asks you to allow more, to develop faith in what must be versus what you can change. Time spent in the comfort of your home and daily routines can benefit you greatly, as can dealing with things you may not want to; things such as your debts, taxes, and your in-laws!
Taurus: This can be a very enjoyable transit if you are open to some unexpected changes. Unexpected can mean something nice! This is a time to grow your networks and friend’s circle, to be more social, and to develop your relationships and communication skills.
Gemini: Career opportunities are likely, as is increasing your finances and resources. This can improve your home life and day-to-day life, including your health, as long as you acknowledge what needs improving.
Cancer: This can be a very meaningful and helpful period. You are likely to feel more is possible, either through a new course of study, or just a new direction in life or way of looking at things. Communications are likely to improve, with your children or partner. If you have neither it may be a time to explore the possibilities.
Leo: This is a good time for more intimacy. Hidden aspects of life can benefit you now, as you expand on your search for more meaning. Practically, your partner may increase their wealth for you both to enjoy, making you feel more secure and at peace, or you may gain something from an unexpected source.
Virgo: Relationships of all kinds can improve under this transit. You are likely to expand your social circle and network more, connecting with a larger group of people, and with a partner, all of whom make you feel more optimistic about what is possible.
Libra: Finding meaning in your everyday routines and tasks can connect you more to your career objectives. It’s time to turn up in your daily life, to improve your health regimes, resting fully so you have the energy to improve the way your life works. This can improve your finances and security.
Scorpio: Engaging more creatively, either with your children, your creative process or with your partner (or with a new child or partner), makes you feel more hopeful and optimistic about your future plans together. A great time to reconnect with friends, and to make new ones.
Sagittarius: Home life can improve, giving you more space to work and rest. You may receive money from unexpected sources, but you must also be aware of any unexpected taxes! A good time to connect more deeply with your spiritual studies.
Capricorn: Better communications, leading to better relationships, can make you feel the need to connect more deeply with others, be it a partner or your friend's circle or networks.
Aquarius: Increased wealth, including your partner’s wealth, can improve your day-to-day life, and your work prospects. You are likely to find more meaning in whatever you do.
Pisces: A newfound confidence brings a breath of fresh air, connecting to others in more profound and meaningful ways. Your relationship with your children can improve, or you might even be planning to have children, if you begin a new relationship. You may be doing something more creative with your newfound energy.
