There are some striking correlations between the astrology of the next decade and that of the period between both world wars.
I hesitated to make predictions of a world war previously for fear of being labelled a ‘fear mongerer’. But well, the gloves are off now! It’s a little late to be side-stepping the issue now that Russia has invaded Ukraine, with tension building on two sides of an apparent divide.
Other astrologers are sounding the alarm, too. One such astrologer is Narasimha Rao, who predicts a world war by 2030-32 on his YouTube channel. His rationale is that there is a configuration in 2030-32 that was present during the war of the Indian epic, Mahabharata, a Taurus-Scorpio alignment we will see at that time.
I would add that Uranus is involved this time around and is about to make a full revolution (pardon the pun) for the American Independence chart. Having entered sidereal Aries in 2016, the ‘year of rebellion’, it has already begun the big shake up, for the U.S. and the world at large.
The last time Uranus transited Aries was during the beginning of WW2, when it met with Saturn in the sign. This time, Saturn and Uranus will both transit sidereal Taurus from 2030, before meeting by exact degree in Gemini in June 2032.
While they don’t meet in Aries, ruled by the 'planet of war', Mars, they do meet in two separate signs over a longer period, in Taurus and Gemini, from 2031 to 2034.

WW3 is unlikely to be anything like WW1 or WW2, although the current Russia-Ukraine war shows the usual types of fighting. It's likely WW3 will be fought with more elaborate systems of disruption, including cyber-attacks, drones, and disruptions to monetary systems, perhaps including the demotion of the dollar, pulling the U.S. into direct conflict.
Taurus represents the basics, which are likely to be disrupted in even bigger ways then we are seeing now (Jan 2023). We could see a major stock market crash by the end of 2023, after further inflation. Read an article I wrote about that here.
By the time Saturn and Uranus make it to Gemini in the beginning of the 2030s, trade and travel is likely to be upset as a new world order emerges.
The Saturn-Ketu conjunction in Taurus is at the heart of Rao’s prediction for a world war. This is because they meet in the lunar mansion of Rohiṇī, a star sign associated with comforts. When Saturn and Ketu get together, there is likely to be a loss of the basics, as loss is one thing they both have in common. When we add Uranus into this equation, it adds more volatility and change, and war as a necessity when the basics are disrupted.
But before you become anxious of the potential of a word war, let me suggest that we are already in a world war. We just haven't called it one as yet. Divisions are likely to increase throughout the 2020s, with fighting likely to escalate and deescalate at different times.
Venus Retrograde December 16, 2029 – January 26, 2030
It may surprise you to hear that Venus has anything to do with a war, but just look at Venus' previous retrogrades, in 2014 and 2022, and you will see how it correlates with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine; first, the Crimean invasion in 2014, and then, the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. It was for this reason I predicted Russia would invade Ukraine.
Venus retrogrades at roughly the same place every 8 years. It will do so again by the end of 2029 and beginning of 2030, in the lunar mansion, Pūrvāṣaḍhā, which, amongst other things, is said to represent 'declarations of war'. If peace and negotiation are possible before then, it is likely only a reprieve before another full-scale invasion.
There are so many other global issues that may defer a world war in the meantime. Perhaps it’s major catastrophes, including natural disasters, uprisings and revolutions, that defer a full-scale war. Perhaps it’s the markets crashing and countries' economies faltering. Yet this is also what starts wars.
Revolutions are likely from mid-decade, including in Russia, China, and the U.S. This is largely due to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction which occurs opposite Putin's and Jinping's natal Saturn-Neptune conjunction, a signature they share with the chart of the American Independence (1776).
Russia and China are likely to go through their own revolutions, as old systems falter, which may delay a world war.
Adapting to the Changing Environment
Humanity will adapt to these challenges, of course. In an era that accentuates more technological progress; more innovation and evolution, we are likely to see many more things advance, helping humanity through the changing landscape, whether geopolitical, economical or environmental.
Perhaps AI will do a better job of predicting patterns in the future, maybe even prevent them from happening, when the damage is clearly predicted.
Perhaps humanity will find new and evolved ways of working out our differences as we move towards the Age of Aquarius, when one of its rulers, Rahu, reigns supreme. And although Rahu is what shows the greed and divisiveness, we can learn to channel its more elevated expressions of innovation for everyone’s benefit, as expressed through its other ruler, Saturn. Greed in whatever form cannot be sustained for long.
As economic systems and resources continue to feel the pinch, we are more likely to see countries dragged into conflict, as well as those entering positions of power who have no qualms about taking that step. They are merely a figurehead of the zeitgeist.
Whenever uncertainty is created because of a sense of threat, it's usually those who would take advantage of this that step up first; you know, the ones that are greedy for power.
With Saturn, Ketu and Uranus meeting in Taurus by the beginning of the 2030s, we are likely to see major rationing of resources and countries fighting over these.
We can learn from the past as we venture to an uncertain future, a future that can be made more certain by acknowledging our past mistakes.
One thing we can always be certain of is this: There will always be wars, famines, and economic woes. There will always be something to fight over. And we will always return to a more peaceful existence.
