Puṣya - The Nurturing One
Puṣya means ‘flowering’ and ‘nurturing’ and is symbolised by a flower and a cow's udder. It is caring and honest, as well as responsible in speaking the truth. It is benign and focused on doing the right thing. It is ruled by the priest to the gods, and a representation of the planet Jupiter, in Sanskrit, Guru, the teacher.
When the Moon transits Puṣya, it's a good day for teaching, healing, worship, and prayers.
