In May, Jupiter enters Taurus, the first time since 2019 that it is not in debilitation or in conjunction with or receiving an aspect from Pluto, Saturn, or Rahu. In June, Jupiter is once again joined by Uranus, introducing potential upheavals with resources, despite our desire for a good time and steady progress. This period signifies a mix of hope and challenges, with possible tumultuous events in the summer signalling a critical juncture for global events. Despite potential disruptions, Jupiter's ingress into Taurus promises some comforting influences, further enhanced once Venus joins it in its home sign by May 19. In June, Mercury's arrival aligns all three benefic planets in Taurus, fostering a more positive environment. All of this can be seen on the horizon in May. However, the positive outlook of Jupiter in Taurus is tempered by unexpected challenges due to Uranus, as well as these planets in combustion, leading to anger. Jupiter asks us to seek deeper meaning beyond what is presented on the surface of things. The Scorpio Full Moon brings more depth, and more awareness of what could go wrong, with Taurus, in that case, balancing any catastrophic thinking with much needed enjoyment. As Venus and Jupiter transit close to the Sun, we may be feeling burnt out and need to recharge. Rahu and Neptune bring a sense of confusion about what is possible, with the Mars-Rahu conjunction on May 18-19 further testing our perceptions and limits. Our energy may be all over the place, with no clear and direct route. The New and Full Moons in May occur in Mars’ signs, with an Aries New Moon on May 8 and a Scorpio Full Moon on May 23. These lunations bring about the need for more pleasure and stability amidst much change and uncertainty. Despite the challenges to global peace, Jupiter’s and Venus’ presence in Taurus offers a stabilizing force, grounding us in many sensual delights amidst the uncertainties of the world on the brink.
